Apple Inc. co-founder, Steve Jobs, died today at the age of 56. Jobs was a college dropout who created Macintosh at age 21, helped to develop the World Wide Web and rebuilt Pixar animation company before taking charge of Apple Inc. once again.
Jobs suffered from a rare form of pancreatic cancer and resigned as the CEO of Apple Inc. on August 24, 2011. Tim Cook took over as CEO following Jobs’ resignation.
Apple released a statement regarding Jobs’ death today but didn’t not mention where he died.
