The Distinguished Speakers Series at Oklahoma City University will feature journalist Bill Moyers at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Henry J. Freede Wellness and Activity Center at N.W. 27th Street and Florida Avenue.
Moyers’ speech entitled, “The Truth of Your Life,” will cover Moyers’ background and issues surrounding journalism today.
Moyers is currently working on a new series called “Moyers & Company” for American Public Television and is considered one of the most prolific public broadcast figures in the industry. He was born in Oklahoma in 1934, served as press secretary to Lyndon Johnson and went on to establish Public Affairs Television in 1986. He was won more than 30 Emmy awards.
