For the past 108 years, the Gaylord and Dickinson families have owned The Oklahoma Publishing Company. OPUBCO as it is nicknamed, is being bought by the Anschutz Corporation, a Denver based company owned by Philip Anschutz.
The sale of OPUBCO includes The Oklahoman, NewsOK.com, the corporate headquarters building, the printing facilities and all associated real estate. This real estate consists of two high-end resorts, manufacturing plants in 18 cities, Peak Railway Company, an avaition company, a 100 piece collection of artwork and more.
