OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University will hold an interfaith service of remembrance beginning with a music performance by Mahmood Bigdely at 12:50 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 in the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel.
The service is being held to observe the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
It will feature music and prayer along with reflections from Dennis Jowaisas, psychology professor; Mohamed Daadaoui, political science professor, and Helene Harpman.
Jewish, Muslim and Christian students will lead prayers for peace.
Fernie Rivera will perform the postlude and will provide guitar accompaniment for the Chapel Choir.
