The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has announced that they will set up a task force to review the 104 nuclear reactors currently in the U.S., according to the Huffington Post.
The review, made up of senior staff and former NRC experts, will conduct a short-term and long-term analysis in the wake of the devastation caused by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
NRC Chairman Gregory Jaczko said they would be determining whether policy changes are needed in the U.S.
