At the American Association for the Advancement of Science annual meeting Friday, scientists presented research that showed that bilinguals maintain better cognitive function than monolinguals as the human body ages.
The scientists’ research claims that bilinguals are better than monolinguals at multitasking, because “juggling their languages helps bilinguals ignore irrelevant information and prioritize tasks better than those who only can speak on tongue.”
