OKLAHOMA CITY – Meinders School of Business will add a master’s degree in energy management to its offerings in March. The university’s Board of Trustees approved the program Jan. 26.
“Developed by the Meinders School of Business and executives from energy companies, the curriculum delivers the education and skills required of future energy leaders,” said Steve Agee, interim dean of Meinders School of Business.
The Master of Arts in Energy Management is designed for professionals who wish to be leaders in the rapidly-expanding energy industry. The program will provide advanced education in energy economics, accounting, the legal and ethical environment of business, financial policy, organizational behavior, global competitive strategy, energy operations, internal and external communication and other related subjects.
