Student destroys property because ‘nobody loved him’
Officer John Jackson was dispatched Dec. 28 to Cokesbury Court Apartments regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival he observed a student breaking out three window panes to the living room windows with his fists.
The officer observed the student to be under the influence of alcohol. He also had lacerations to both hands and forearms.The officer further observed the apartment to be in disarray with furniture thrown around. He also observed empty bottles of wine and Four Loko cans.
The student said he was distraught because “nobody loved him.”
An ambulance and Oklahoma City fire department vehicle arrived on the scene at about 1 a.m. and transported the student to St. Anthony Hospital for evaluation. Officer Jackson took photos of the damage and Dean Riggs was notified. The Facilities Department was notified of the damage at 1:30am. Formal charges will be submitted to the Oklahoma County D.A.
Student affected by second-degree burglary
Officer Cheri Bolz was dispatched Jan. 7 to Oklahoma Methodist Hall regarding the theft of personal items.
Upon arrival she met with the victim who said she has been off campus since Dec. 17 and returned on Jan. 6 to discover her iPOD Touch, iHome dock and a pair of Ugg boots missing from her bed side table.
The officer could not detect any sign of forced entry and her roommate had been off campus during the student’s absence. There were other valuable items in the room that did not appear to have been tampered with.
The serial number to the iPOD was entered into NCIC. Police have no suspects.
