Freedom didn’t last long for a former murder defendant accused last year of murdering an OCU student.
Saul Becerra Jr. pleaded guilty Nov. 2 to discharging a firearm into a dwelling. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
He was released May 28 from the Oklahoma County jail when prosecutors dropped the first-degree murder charge for gunning down Bradley Wahnee, 19, an OCU biology student. He went back on Aug. 2 for firing shots into a house.
