OKLAHOMA CITY – OCU has appointed Mahmood Shandiz as the university’s associate vice president for international admissions. Shandiz formerly served as senior associate dean and professor of management in the Meinders School of Business.
“Dr. Shandiz brings a wealth of experience and valuable skills to a critically important position in our university,” said Dr. Susan Barber, acting provost. “Dr. Shandiz is highly regarded not only on the OCU campus but nationally and internationally as well.
“We are very pleased that he has agreed to help enhance our efforts in international recruiting and admissions.”
Shandiz said he’s excited for the new opportunity.
“OCU places great value on having international students on campus, which is culturally good for everyone,” he said.
