Officials are experimenting with new locations for Chapel this semester and going “on the road” to give students a change of scenery. Student senators are working on two new resolutions for this semester that could make students’ lives a little easier.
Student Senate members voted to change the frequency of their meetings. The decision was made to hold meetings on a bi-monthly schedule for the Spring 2015 semester. Previously, the organization held meetings once a week.
Student Senate will not review the number of bills they estimated this semester.
The annual Stargazing Cabaret is hosting their own senior showcase.The Stargazing Cabaret is a student-organized and student-performed show that happens twice a year, once in the fall semester and once in the spring. The show is done to benefit the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids Organization, which is one of the nation’s leading industry-based fundraising and grant-making organizations.
The campus’s four sororities are coming together to give thanks for sisterhood with their annual Festive Feast.
