–Second Friday Norman Art Walk: 6-9 p.m. in various locations throughout Norman. celebrates local art with seasonal displays in a citywide celebration. Takes place at various venues throughout Norman and includes Day of the Dead sugar skulls, dancing, film and still-life displays. Free to attend. –Canterbury Choral Society presents G3: Gloria Cubed: 8 p.m. at Civic Center Music Hall. The Canterbury Choral Society opens its season with a performance of G3, featuring three “Glorias” by Vivaldi, Williams, and Pollenac. The music will take place with multi-media accompaniments. Tickets start at $15 and are available on the Canterbury website.
Saturday, Oct. 11
–Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show: Opens 9 a.m. Saturday morning and continues through Oct. 18 at Oklahoma State Fair Park. Morgan horses from across the world will be featured in events and competitions throughout the week.
