The International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood (ISAAC) has discovered evidence of clear associations between certain unhealthy foods and severe asthma, hay fever and eczema. Similarly, it has been found that children who eat fruit regularly were protected against severe asthma in addition to enjoying other health advantages.
