Bahraini government bans protests, demonstrations

All protests and gatherings have been banned by the Bahraini government amid deadly clashes between police forces and demonstrators.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Al Khalifah stated that the “repeated abuse” of freedom of speech and expression could no longer be tolerated.
