Farris Willingham

Student Publications has named students to its two top editor posts.

Farris Willingham has been named editor-in-chief. As such, the mass communications sophomore is responsible for the overall operations of Oklahoma City University’s three student media outlets–The Campus newspaper, MediaOCU.com and The Constellationyearbook.

Willingham came to the university in August 2010, after graduating from Putnam City North High school in Oklahoma City. He formerly worked as staff writer for Student Publications.

Rikki George

He assumed the editorship from Nathan Hatcher, mass communications junior, who now serves at the staff’s layout editor.

Rikki George has been named associate editor. In this role, the mass communications and sports business sophomore is responsible for assisting Willingham in the student media’s overall operations.

George came to the university in August 2010, after graduating from Holy Names Academy in Seattle. She formerly worked as the Student Publications web editor.

Oklahoma City University’s Student Publications staff works to inform, entertain and serve the OCU community while providing students with realistic, hands-on journalistic training.
