Senators also voted unanimously to approve Sens. Hau Can (graduate) and German Martinez (Greek) to their new Senate positions.

Both senators were recommended for their positions by Sen. Ciera Terry (theater).

Sarah Cook, president of Student Senate, said she was looking to fill the athletics and dance and arts management senator seats.

An email to students announced the open seats and received 15 responses from interested students, Cook said.

Emma Velez, president of Student Government Association, and Terry will work together to fill the seats, she said.

Cook presented senators with a list of standing Senate rules, which were voted on and approved unanimously.
