Former OCU Adjunct Faculty, Dean of Students and Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, Tom Heggy died on August 17. Heggy worked at OCU for more than 30 years, ending his career with the University in 2001.

A celebration of Heggy’s life is scheduled for this Saturday, August 27, at 10:30 a.m. in the Kirkpatrick Auditorium. Golf carts will be available to transport guests and visitors who park in the lots next to the Kramer School of Nursing and Meinders School of Business.

In his memory, Heggy’s family has started the Tom Heggy Memorial Scholarship  which will help law enforcement employees and their families. The family has requested that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Scholarship.
